CareTech Solutions to Showcase Industry Leading Outsourced Services at HIMSS 2013

  CareTech Solutions, an information technology (IT) and Web products and services provider for more than 200 hospitals, today announced it will showcase its outsourced IT services, including its clinical help desk offering, Service Desk™ , at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2013 Annual Conference & Exhibition. At the conference, CareTech will also launch a new, first-of-its-kind, IT monitoring service. Additionally, two CareTech clients, Detroit Medical Center (DMC), the largest healthcare provider in southeast Michigan, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), a national network of fully accredited cancer hospitals, were selected to present an education session, titled, “Is It Time for a Clinical Help Desk?” This case study describes how DMC and CTCA used CareTech’s advanced help desk support to improve clinical information system adoption and physician satisfaction. All visitors to CareTech’s booth will receive a donation to the charity of their choice from CareTech.


CareTech Solutions CEO, Jim Giordano; senior director of monitoring services, John Kaiser; and the senior director of service desk, Karl Graham, will all be available by appointment to meet with media, prospects and partners during the show.
Danielle Sun, manager of clinical services at Detroit Medical Center, and Christopher Downs, director of IT account management, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America will be also available for interviews following their HIMSS presentation.
